At Rivershire RV Resort & Camping, our story is deeply rooted in a passion for the great outdoors — and it all begins with our dedicated owner, Jay Wagner. Jay is not only an experienced camper and hiker, but also a devoted Scouts BSA Scoutmaster with a profound appreciation for nature and adventure.
His lifelong love affair with the outdoors has driven his vision for Rivershire RV Resort & Camping. Jay's background in scouting has equipped him with invaluable outdoor skills and instilled in him a deep appreciation for nature and our place in it.
He believes the RV resort experience should go beyond providing a place to stay — it should create an environment where like-minded adventurers can connect, share stories, and forge lasting memories.
In addition to his scouting endeavors, Jay has proudly served in the Army National Guard, further honing his leadership abilities and dedication to serving others. Jay is happily married to Kelsey Wagner, owner of Ponca City Monthly magazine and MyMediaMatters Creative Agency, and who also serves as a Ponca City Commissioner. Jay and Kelsey have been blessed with two teenage sons, Pierce and Noah.
"The Wagner family lives and works in Ponca City, OK and purchased Honey Hole RV Park in November 2023, rebranding it as Rivershire RV Resort & Camping."
